Enclosures

2017 - present

Inspired by an ad I came across on Instagram, I was intrigued by the unique shape of the package. This led me to do an analysis of how products are packaged and sold to the consumer. In this case, I chose to photograph different elements and stages of these containers.

Discovering Imperfection

2017 - Present

Perfection. Unattainable and seemingly inhuman.

Human beings suffer; we can not avoid it. We strive to be better than our kin, but it seems we are meant to fail. Amidst all the chaos and the constant noise, we find ourselves trapped on a silent desert, on our own, attempting to survive—to be rescued. We find comfort in individuals; they too function inadequately at perfection. They too, contribute to our pain.

They need us, but we need them more.

______
A series that depicts human properties as landscapes that serve as a visual oasis in the midst of a white desert.

Unbecoming

2017

Tissue boxes are often overlooked and out of place. I discarded the traditional structure of a tissue box and designed my own interpretation of what a tissue box could look like. Each triptych allows the viewer to examine the structures details; to understand and visualize its three-dimensional presence.
